Our Black Pepper Bergamot soap is a spicy, woody fragrance enhanced with black pepper, bergamot, and lavender notes anchored in deep woodsy accords.

Temple Earth cold process soaps are made in small batches with a high superfat ratio of organic and unrefined oils and butters (superfat is any excess oils that remain in soap after the saponification process is complete). This means that our soaps are loaded with skin-conditioning properties, including glycerin (a humectant), that help skin maintain moisture. We also add Arrowroot powder and a clay, usually Kaolin, to every batch of soap which creates a silky smooth feeling on the skin and adds a nice slip feel to the soap bar itself.

Get the most out of your soap! Soaps are naturally high in glycerin which means they attract moisture. Yes that is great for your skin, but not so good for the bar itself so in order to get the longest life from your soap, always store your soap in a well-draining soap dish or place soap in a soap bag and hang dry between each use.

Artisan Soap Making by Temple Earth LLC
We meticulously craft our small batch cold process soaps using only the finest, high quality ingredients from natural organic oils and butters, to phthalate-free fragrance oils, and everything in between. After our ingredients have been skillfully crafted, it is then poured into premium pine wood molds where it sets (hardens) for 24-48 hours. Once fully set, the soap is unmolded and air dried for about 24 hours before being individually hand cut and edge trimmed. We then place the bars on our specially designed ventilated drying racks in a humidity-controlled room for a minimum of 4-6 weeks (this allows the allows water to evaporate from the soap to create a firmer, longer lasting bar of soap). The fully cured bars are then sculpted and polished with an acrylic planer/beveler to form a clean, smooth, and finished surface before finally being hand labeled and distributed to boutiques and online shops.
